Flights from Lagos to Port Harcourt
Port Harcourt International Airport is in Omagwa, and it has separate international and domestic terminals. The fare from Lagos changes daily, so it is not printed here.
What to do with this route
"PH" in a flight search means Port Harcourt International Airport, not a helipad in the city. FAAN places the airport in Omagwa. Wikipedia describes two terminals, one international and one domestic. If you are going to a meeting in town, the drive from Omagwa is part of the trip. This page does not invent that drive time.

Airports
You leave Lagos from GAT or MMA2, depending on the airline. You land at Port Harcourt's domestic terminal unless the ticket says otherwise. FAAN's note on the Port Harcourt general-aviation terminal gives the runway as 3,000 by 60 metres, orientation 03/21. That is an airport fact, not a schedule.
Airlines to check
Three airline sites listed both Lagos and Port Harcourt on 31 October 2026: United Nigeria, ValueJet and Ibom Air, whose menu includes Port Harcourt alongside Uyo, Abuja, Calabar, Enugu, Lagos and Accra. Ibom's homepage also says, in another sentence, that it flies five Nigerian cities and names Uyo, Abuja, Calabar, Enugu and Lagos. Because the site contradicts itself, confirm a Port Harcourt seat in the search rather than trusting the menu alone.
A city on an airline's destination list is not a promise of a nonstop flight on the day you travel. The list was read on 31 October 2026. Confirm the flight, the terminal and the bag allowance in that day's search.
Baggage
Ibom's homepage allows checked bags up to 20 kg total in economy. United Nigeria allows 20 kg domestic economy. ValueJet allows 23 kg in economy except on the hand-luggage-only brands. Compare those before you call one fare cheaper.
| Airline | Allowance we read | Source |
|---|---|---|
| Air Peace | Domestic: 15 kg economy, 30 kg business. Excess ₦1,000 per kg, paid at the airport before check-in. The airline's terms page has also stated 20 kg in economy, so the figure on your ticket wins. | Airline page |
| Air Peace, London | Economy 2 × 23 kg, business 2 × 32 kg, first 3 × 32 kg on Lagos/Abuja–London Gatwick or Heathrow. Extra kilos and extra bags have separate published charges on that page. | Airline page |
| Air Peace, Dubai | The international rule has a Dubai exception: economy 2 × 25 kg, business 2 × 32 kg, first 3 × 32 kg. Extra bag at the airport published as $150. | Airline page |
| Ibom Air | Checked bags up to 20 kg total in economy and 30 kg total in premium economy, any number of bags inside that weight. One carry-on bag. The homepage does not state the carry-on weight. | Airline page |
| United Nigeria | Domestic checked: 20 kg economy, 40 kg business. Excess ₦500 per kg. Regional: 30 kg economy, 40 kg business, excess $3 per kg. International: 3 pieces of 23 kg in economy. | Airline page |
| ValueJet | 23 kg checked in economy and 30 kg in premium economy, plus 7 kg cabin (and a laptop). ValueLite and ValueSaver fares include only the 7 kg cabin bag and no checked bag. | Airline page |

At the airport, and the other way to go
Omagwa is not Old GRA or Trans Amadi. Arrange the car for the airport, not for a landmark in town. The reverse direction is not a separate guide yet. From Abuja, see Abuja to Port Harcourt. Other south-east and south-south options from Lagos include Owerri, Enugu and Uyo.
